Come Meet the Jensen's

Myself and my amazing hubby Benjamin. Benjamin is one of those people that you meet and instantly fall in love with! He has an amazing personality which is only overshadowed by his great sense of humor and love for his family. He is my rock and the one person that I was destined to spend the rest of my life with. He works extremely hard so that one day he can take over his families business. His love for sports astonishes me, how can one brain hold that much information about 50 different sports?!?! Football being his #1 sport love, once September rolls around, Sunday's are renamed Sunday Funday's at our house, with everyone dressed in Purple and Yellow (unless the Vikings should play on Monday) and zoned out to the 46" box that we veg out in front of for 3 hours while our team once again crushes our Superbowl dreams! (One year we will win... one year!) As for me... My name is Amanda and I have the most amazing family in existence (I am just a little bias). I love my children, Benjamin, our boxer, photography (a great passion of mine), running, wine, cooking, traveling, and diving into a good book. My mother is the world's best mom and I strive every day to be half as good as she is! I never dreamed of my life being the way that it is, but somewhere along the way I took a few right turns to get to this amazing place I call life! I am blessed beyond belief and I am thankful everyday for all that I have!

Meet Reese, our 65 pound Fawn Boxer that loves to lick, jump, cuddle and do that adorable boxer wiggle (if you don't have a boxer or have never seen it, you are missing out). He is our first "child", he was spoiled rotten when he was a pup and still thinks he should be. Reese is amazing with our children and puts up with his ears, lips and tail being pulled on, bounced on, bite, and any other form of torture two little boys can throw his way. He is the best running partner I could ever ask for, he gets up with me even at 4 am some mornings to hit the pavement and does so with a wiggle and a spring in his step! Reese's greatest love is swimming in the summer and destroying our snowmen in the winter (he thinks it is pretty fun dig the bottom of the snowman until it tips over and then he pounces on it until it is combined with the rest of the snow on the ground)! He adds to the chaos in our lives, he is a lot like Marley (from Marley and me), but he is the most loyal, loving four legged creature I know.

This is Braylon our first born! He has a smile that melts my heart. He is extremely polite little boy, saying please and thank you 99% of the time. He even apologizes after throwing a temper tantrum! He loves anything that has a motor under the hood: construction vehicles, semi's, and heavy duty machinery. He gets SO excited to see a skid steer or bulldozer that he screams at the top of his lungs SKID STEER!!! If we see a dump truck, he yells DUMP TRUCK HONK YOUR HORN! We have taken long trips around town to hunt out all of the construction vehicles, but I am a proud mommy who is so impressed by his knowledge of every one of them that I would drive all over the nation to let him see a Skid Steer or any other vehicle he wants to hunt for. Braylon was born to be a fish, he swims like I have never seen a 3 year old swim, he is such a natural. He has an imagination that surpasses Dr. Suess' (an author that he is very fond of by the way). He is our first born, the little boy that first called us mommy and daddy! He taught me what unconditional love is! He is such a special little boy, and he will always and forever be our little boy!

And that is our Porter! That face says it all... Porter's personality is bigger then the universe. He has the highest highs and the lowest lows... Everything he does he does with 100% enthusiasm and effort. Porter has a love for life, always screaming, yelling or laughing the loudest, longest and hardest. He is an entertainer, he knows what is funny and how to get a laugh out of people! He loves everything that his big brother loves, but he has inherited his fathers love and passion for sports. Porter can spot a basketball hoop from 100 miles away! He sleeps with a basketball, football and mini basketball in his crib every night, he knows if one isn't in there and will refuse to go to sleep without them, makes traveling very interesting...  Porter has taught us what determination is, what it means to appreciate life, but most importantly Porter made me believe, believe that human strength does not come from age, it is something that is instilled in us, one never knows there own limits until those limits are pushed, being born premature (8 weeks) and having to under go 3 surgeries in the first 5 months of his life, we learned a lot about ourselves and a lot about us as a family! We are so grateful to have gone through it and gotten through it! He is our second born little boy, but he refuses to be second at anything else in life! We love our sweet sweet P oh so much!

This is Baby J (I like to give our children nicknames when they are in the womb). We were told that we will be having our first experience with a little girl :) We have decided that she will be called Adaelyn after she is born. I don't know much about her yet, other then she is to be our first girl, I love her so much already, that she enjoys doing gymnastics in my uterus, using my ovaries as her spring board! She already has her daddy wrapped around that bony, wrinkly, barley there finger! She is going to be the world's most protected little girl, Ben has already started talking about getting a shot gun to put by the door (don't worry, he isn't going to own ammo, it is just a scare tactic), or paying her brothers to follow her when she leaves the house to make sure she isn't with boys! Oh sweet Adaelyn enjoy your time protected inside Mommy, once you come out, you will be introduced to a whole new kind of protection, male protection... We are extremely excited to be welcoming our 3rd child into the world in December! We can not wait to see your beautiful little face!
